Westin Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA

Scope:  Renovation converting existing hotel (Ritz Carlton) to a Westin and meet code requirements.  This project included the reception, lobby, lobby bar, pre-function, ballrooms, meeting rooms, business center, public restrooms, 294 guestrooms and 19 suites.

Concept:  This design centered around highlighting the beautiful architectural molding details.  This was accomplished by using a monochromatic paint palette with varying sheens to draw focus to each architectural element.  The rich tones of the textiles and Axminster carpet with organic elements contrast the neutral paint adding warmth to the space.  This combination of elements creates a sophisticated modern space that is warm and seducing.

*This project was completed at TVS and Associates.
